The Specificity of Grade III
Ylang Ylang oil is distilled over a long period (about 20 hours). Grade III is obtained during the later hours of the process (9-10 hours).
- Chemical Composition: It has a lower concentration of lighter, more volatile components (such as esters and linalool, which provide the top note aroma) and a higher concentration of sesquiterpenes (heavier molecules, such as Beta-caryophyllene and Germacrene).
- Aroma: Ylang Ylang III has a less intense and less sweet aroma than Extra or I. It is more herbal, balsamic, and features more earthy/woody base notes.
- Use: It is often the fraction most used in low-cost cosmetics, soaps, candles, and as a base note in perfumes, but it still retains valuable therapeutic properties.
⚠️QUICK WARNING: ESSENTIAL OILS⚠️

Do Not Ingest: Do not use internally.
