Complex Symbolism of the Medal

The medal’s power resides in the union of various symbols into a single focal point:

• The Tetragrammaton (YHWH): Inscribed at the center of the pentagram, it represents the creative power of God and the key to understanding divine mysteries. Invoking this name offers the highest protection.

• The Star Pentagram:

  • With one point facing up, it symbolizes the Spirit dominating the four elements (Water, Earth, Fire, and Air). It represents the human being (the Microcosm) mastering their inner world.

  • With the point facing down (inverted), it represents the domination of matter over spirit, and is avoided in protective practices.

• Additional Symbols: The medal typically contains symbols associated with:

  • Planets: The signs of the seven classical planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn).

  • Alchemy and Kabbalah: Numbers, Hebrew letters, and divine names that reinforce the power to attract positive energies.
