The Symbolism of Stars and Metal

The design and material of this burner effectively combine energies:

• Stellar Symbolism (Aether/Air): Stars and the night sky are symbols of guidance, destiny, hope, and connection to the divine and the cosmic. The pattern allows smoke to rise through the openings, symbolizing the elevation of prayers and intentions to the universe.
  • Function: It helps to focus on rituals of divination, deep meditation, and the manifestation of great dreams and desires.
• Metal Symbolism (Fire): Metal is a conductor and has a strong association with the Fire Element.
  • Advantage: It heats up quickly and is lighter (compared to cast iron or cement), allowing the burner to be safely moved (if it has a handle) to smudge all corners of a large area.
• Symbolism of the Tall Vessel: The 21 cm height elevates the fire and the smoke. Symbolically, this makes the piece a vertical focal point that establishes the connection between the Earth (the practitioner) and the Heavens (the Spirit).

WARNING: The golden rule is to never leave fire unattended and to ensure that the metal burner is always placed on a protective, heat-resistant surface.
